They either fit my hips or my legs, but never both

Hey have you guys ever gone out shopping and you try on clothes and they either fit well on your hips or actually fit your legs but never both? This is a problem that I seem to face every time I go out shopping. It's almost as if they run out of everything in the size tall/long as soon as I walk into the store. This one incident had hurt my soul, I was out shopping with my teammate and we come across these pants that I have been looking for, well lets just say a long time. Come to find out it was the very last one on the rack. It was my size and it was in a "long." So at this point I am so happy I go to the dressing room to try on the outfit I put together. I put on the shirt next are the pant, I get them on they look good as I pull them up, they fit my waist perfectly. As I start to get excited I look down and notice that I was ready for the flood. When I tell you I was ready to cry because I was so excited. So my question is to the designers what is your definition of tall. As a 6'4 female it is already hard to find to find clothes that will fit my body so when a brand says tall/long and it doesn't fit like that then it makes it worse than not having anything at all. It makes me as a tall women feel included but the models wear your brand are tall women. So my question is why not make inclusive so that us. "normal tall girls" can feel confident when shopping for jeans/pants?
