VoxBox Kiss Lashes & Wet n' Wild Review

As you all may know I am an influencer as well as a blogger. At the moment I am still building up my platform and base, so I don't have any contracts that I am getting paid for yet. I am currently using the app called Influenster. It’s an app where a lot of other influencers gather, we do reviews on products that we've used before. With each review you are able to earn points and badges. Also, with each product that you buy, you are able to get cash back once you do a review on your profile. As an up and coming influencer this app is a great one for you to start off with.

Recently this past week Influenster sent me a Vox Box full of goodies for me to review. Again, this wasn't a paid advertisement or review, but I did receive everything given to me for free. The Vox Box came with a lot of goodies I couldn't wait to try everything. First off when you open the box there is a post card that has the directions on how win points on the app. Also, on the back of this post card are names of everything that came in the box and a short description of what they are used for,

The very first things I saw as I opened the box were a pair of Kiss Lashes from the Couture Naked Drama Collection. These are a pair of 3D mink effect lashes with full density, sheer volume, and also came with some glue. Next there was the Wet n' Wild Photo-focus 3-in-1 Primer Water and also the Photo-focus Water Drop Primer. Next there was the Eva-NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner. Also, inside the box there was SMILE'S PRID Homeopathic Drawing Salve. These are all-natural ingredients mixed together to relieve minor skin irritations including ingrown hairs, splinters, insect bites, and boils. Then lastly there was a coupon for a free voucher of Country Crock Plant Butter. Though there are many goodies in this review I will only be talking about the Kiss Lashes and the Wet n' Wild Primer Water and Water Drop Primer.

As someone who has long eye lashes naturally, I have never been the one to wear mink lashes. The first time I tried lashes was my junior year in college and I didn't like them. They felt heavy and the glue almost got my eye lids stuck together, and I also ripped off some of my own lashes. This experience made my nice long thick lashes thin out. So, as you can see my experience was bad as a whole. So, my hopes and excitement for these Kiss Lashes were very low, but I was still excited to try to see the difference.

So, as I took them out the pack and felt the lashes it felt so soft and smooth. They also had a thick feel too them, but they also didn't look stiff they were life like. So, I applied the glue that came with the lashes, and let them sit for a while so that the glue could dry some. As I applied the lashes, I was shocked that I got it right the first time. I finished applying the lashes and as I looked in the mirror I fell in love. I loved how natural the lashes looked on me, and also, they made my lashes look just a little bit thicker than normal.

As stated, before I have long lashes naturally, but since my junior year experiment with trying lashes my lashes thinned out. So, they were no longer thick and long but just extra-long now. The fact that my lashes looked how they did before that bad experiment I was very happy and excited. Once I applied my mascara to blend my lashes with the Kiss Lashes it was a wrap. Everything just looked amazing, I fell in love with the lashes. The one part I loved the most was how lightweight the lashes felt on my eyes. So, if I am giving these lashes a rate out of 10, I will give them a 9 out of 10. Only reason I say that is because the glue that came with it is not that great of a glue. After a while my lashes started to come off when I used that glue.

The next thing out of the Vox Box I tried was the Wet n' Wild Photo-focus 3-in-1 Primer Water and also the Photo-focus Water Drop Primer. So, since I have run out of my shea butter which is my last and final step of my morning face wash routine then I was going to just substitute the in the Wet n' Wild. I wanted to see how it would compare to using shea butter. As I already knew nothing compares to how all-natural shea butter feels on your skin, but the Wet n' Wild primers are not all bad either.

So, my first step in my face was routine is to just dampen my face and then use the Hey Honey face scrub. Once that is over, I used the Global Beauty scrub-off mud mask. Once you have applied it, leave it on for 5 minuets. In that short time, you are able to feel the minerals in the mask working on your skin. After you wash the mask off your skin feels so smooth it will remind you of a baby butt. Once that step is over the last and final step is to moisturize my skin. As stated, my go to was shea butter but as I applied the Photo-focus Water Drop Primer I felt a cooling sensation on my skin. Also, you could smell fresh cucumber as soon as you open the container. The fragrance is not too strong. As someone who is sensitive to strong smells this product doesn't have one.

The primer has a green color to it, ironic right. As you finish rubbing the primer on your skin you start to not only feel that cooling sensation, but your skin becomes smooth all over. As for the Wet n' Wild Photo-focus 3-in-1 Primer Water I used this to freshen up my skin the same day, and it felt so refreshing. The spray gives you the same smell and cooling sensation as the Drop primer. only difference is that I feel as though I would only use the spray as a product to just freshen up my skin if I feel as though it may be dry after a long day of running around. Over all I would rate the Photo-focus Water Drop Primer an 8-out of-10, and the Photo-focus 3-in-1 Primer Water a 9-out of-10. I gave the Water Drop Primer an 8-out of-10 because after a couple hours my skin started to feel a little dry, so I refreshed it with the Photo-focus 3-in-1 Primer Water. If you are able to use these as a combo it is amazing. I wouldn’t be able to use the primers as a single use only unless I am putting on make-up right after. If it is a natural look day then I will be using them both.
